Our Leaders' Hub provides everything you need to prepare for and run the Money Course for your church, group, community or organisation.

 

Teach others to budget, manage their day-to-day spending and start saving

The Money Course is a 6-session, interactive budgeting course designed to equip people with the tools they need to get on top of their finances. Each session comprises videos, talking points and practical exercises and takes about 40 minutes to run.

The course is aimed at anyone who would like to explore their relationship with money and learn how to budget – and you can play an important part in helping those people access the information and support they need.

You don’t need to be an expert.

The most important criteria is that you have a passion for helping people to learn how to get on top of their finances, not that you have extensive experience in this area.

You certainly don’t need any qualifications to deliver the course; it helps if you are an empathetic, warm person who can encourage and support potentially nervous and anxious guests and enable them to get the most out of the sessions.

Support for your guests

Your role as a course leader is that of facilitation, not teaching, so if you follow the guidance and tips we provide, you should be ~ well set for success. You are not doing this alone – our our team is on hand if you get stuck or have questions.

Join us on one of our quarterly Zoom calls to meet with the Money Course team and other course facilitators - ask questions, share tips and discuss issues that have come up for you when preparing for or running the course.

There will also be the chance to hear about new information and resources that may be helpful when supporting your guests on the course.
